UPSC asked to reveal cut-off marks of civil services exam: HC

New Delhi, Sep 3 (PTI) The Delhi High Court today directed the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to make public the cut-off marks obtained by candidates in preliminary test of the civil services examination.
A Bench comprising Chief Justice A P Shah and Justice S Muralidhar upheld the order passed by a single judge bench which had held that disclosure of information pertaining to cut-off marks would not harm the interest of UPSC and any third party.

The Bench rejected the contention of the Commission which submitted that if the information regarding the marks was given to the students, it would be misused by coaching institutes and hamper chances of meritorious students. PTI
