Sixth Pay Commission: pay structure for direct recruits

New Delhi, Spet.2, 2008: Everyone is worried about the pay scale and pay band that would be awarded to him under Sixth Pay Commission. Here we give the pay structure for direct recruits appointed on or after January 1 2006.

Mostly people are happy with the final implementation of the pay commission recommendation. It is notwithstanding the fact that a number of people’s hope have been a bit dashed due to the fact that pay rise has fallen far short of their expectations.

Another thing that has caused dismay among many central government employees is the fact that government is only giving 40 percent amount as arrears instead of 100 percent they had expected.

Those people who are working under autonomous institutions of central government still do not have clear idea as to how their institutions would implement the pay panel recommendations.
