Lindsay Lohan Wants to Date Michael Phelps

According to reports, Lindsay Lohan has set her sights on Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps. Sources say the actress, who is rumored to be dating pal Samantha Ronson, has been asking Phelps for a date.

“It’s become a running joke in his camp. Lindsay has been trying to meet up with him,” the source says. “They’re both going to the MTV Video Music Awards next month so they’ll be sure to see each other properly then. Phelps is certainly flattered by all the attention but it’s not clear how seriously he’s taking it all.”

Lohan isn’t the only celebrity infatuated with the eight time Olympic gold medalist. Country singer and former American Idol star Carrie Underwood recently admitted that she has a crush on Phelps but he has a celebrity crush on someone else – actress Cameron Diaz. “Cameron Diaz seems pretty cool. She seems like she has a cool personality,” he told Extra.
