Krishna Kumar Birla (KK Birla)
Dr. Krishna Kumar Birla (died August 30, 2008) was a noted Indian industrialist of the Birla family, and the eldest surviving son of Ghanshyam Das Birla. He also served as a Member of the Rajya Sabha.
In 1991 he established the K.K. Birla Foundation to promote Hindi literature and is the Chancellor of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science at Pilani.
He is the group chairman of the Zuari-Chambal group of companies with a turnover of Rs.10,000 crores.
He is the Chairman of ZUARI-CHAMBAL-PARADEEP, India's largest fertilizer combine in private sector.
