LimeWire Store: Chi-Town Celebration!
On Friday, September 19, the LimeWire Store and Chicago Innerview magazine threw a great party at Schubas Tavern in Chicago to celebrate the release of the Ear to the Ground: Chicago digital sampler. This FREE compilation album — composed of eleven tracks chosen by Schubas' booker, Matt Rucins, from some of the best up-and-coming artists in Chicago — is available exclusively in the LimeWire Store.
There was plenty of cold beer and hot mac & cheese to keep everyone full and satisfied, and our pals in Brighton, MA and Skybox were on hand to turn in a fantastic pair of live acoustic performances. We made a bunch of new friends, too, including the fine folks from Minty Fresh, Touch and Go, Flameshovel, Bloodshot, The Onion, Time Out Chicago, and Q101. Thanks to everyone at Chicago Innerview and Schubas who helped us put this party together; we hope that everyone who came had a great time!
