Christina Applegate Begins Breast Cancer Treatment

Earlier this month, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and earlier today Christina Applegate was spotted arriving at a medical clinic to undergo treatment.

The “Samantha Who?” actress looked pensive as she walked into Cedars-Sinai Hospital for Women’s Cancers in Los Angeles, California. And though cancer is never a desirable diagnosis, in this case it sounds like it was caught early enough to be treated.

Applegate’s rep told press, “Christina Applegate was diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer. Benefiting from early detection through a doctor ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening...Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery.”

In an attempt to raise money for breast cancer research, the “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy” hottie will be appearing on a one-hour television special called “Stand Up to Cancer,” set to air on ABC, NBC, and CBS on September 5th.
