Big B had a blast in Trinidad’s `Unforgettable Tour`!

New Delhi, July 22: Amitabh Bachchan sounds upbeat about his “Unforgettable Tour” in Trinidad in his recent blog entry. He sounds exuberant, positive and sentimental as he begins his blog entry with: What a blast, Trinidad! The stars performers comprising of the Bachchan trio, Preity Zinta, Riteish Deshmukh and Vishal Shekhar were excitedly greeted by the audience at the Queens Park Cricket Club. Adding to the spectacular evening, Big B crooned a traditional Caribbean calypso song, which was the highlight of the grand show.

“Over 25,000 in packed stadium. And the media informs me that around 1000 people flew in from neighboring country, Surinam in special charters to see the show,” the Big B writes about the audience turnout in Trinidad.

Talking about his bags, which he lost for the nineteenth, he says, “The bags are trickling in by the one’s and two’s and there is promise of it all arriving in to Trinidad a couple of hours after we have left for LA ! Which is rather interesting!”

Amitabh feels that their performances improved after the initial nervousness was over. “The performances were more efficient I felt. Guess the initial jitters were gone after Toronto. The talent, the creativity, the big names and stars, the production values, all forming such an awesome package. It would be incredible to have this entire strength put together for one unbelievable massive event. An event for a cause. A cause to alleviate those that suffer in our land. A cause that could strengthen and coalesce nationalities, communities, countries.”

Big B sentimentally expressed his vision of togetherness and a global community working together without any boundaries. “I envision a vast venue of endless space. I envision creativity from every corner of our country. The film worlds from the North and South and the East and the West, the classical dance and art and music forms, the tribal, the rural and urban, all together. All expounding love and compassion. Welcoming vibrations. Welcoming peace. Welcoming harmony.”

The next destination of the “Unforgettable Tour” is LA. The response to the show has been extraordinary and so there are now plans to add new destinations to the tour's first leg in Europe. In the days to come, the grandeur of the tour will travel to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, Atlantic City, Chicago, New York, London and Rotterdam.
