If there’s one thing celebrities are known for, it’s being late to pretty much everything. And last night Molly Sims had a real doozy of a late arrival at her own party.“Hamptons” magazine held a reception for the model/actress at The Lodge in East Hampton to celebrate her appearance on the cover of their latest issue.
And while the schedule said Sims would arrive at 6:30pm, she didn’t show her face until 9:30pm, claiming car trouble. The party planners reportedly received updates from Molly during those three hours, but inside sources reveal that she may have been enjoying dinner with her family in Montauk at the Surf Lodge.
When she finally showed up, Sims looked stunning in a shiny copper-colored top with a black skirt, and although the magazine had only reserved the private section of The Lodge til 9:30pm, they were able to get an extra hour so that she could greet her guests.
