Since re-launching her career as a country singer, she’s been busily flying all over the country doing promotion. And last night (July 24), Jessica Simpson was back out in New York City.The “Come On Over” songstress was spotted leaving the Gramercy Park Hotel, looking stunning in a free-flowing black asymmetrical dress along with a pair of zippered strappy heels.
Earlier in the evening, the former Newlyweds starlet treated her parents along with hairstylist/BFF Ken Paves to a swanky dinner out at Dos Caminos.
As for her ever-expanding design career, Jess recently signed a multi-year deal with Camuto Group and G-Ill to market a new line of contemporary dresses under her label, to hit stores in the Spring of 2009.
Simpson told press, “I’m extremely excited to be expanding into the dress market. I plan on creating beautiful dresses in distinctive fabrics and silhouettes that are reflective of my personal style and offer something special to the market place.”
