Actor Michael J. Fox is coming back to the world of television and entertainment. Michael, who has been suffering from Parkinson’s disease, will return to television sometime during next spring. He will appear as a guest artist on famous action drama titled ‘Rescue Me’. The confirmation of the news came from a representative of FX cable network on Tuesday.
Details about Michael J. Fox’s news have been inferred from varied sources. According to John Solberg, FX’s spokesman, forty seven year old actor is going to portray the paralyzed boyfriend of the ex-wife of the main character, New York City firefighter Tommy Gavin. Tommy’s character is played by Denis Leary.
Canadian-born Michael J. Fox has signed on to appear in four episodes of the upcoming fifth season, starting with a premiere episode in the spring.

Michael J. Fox has made his last appearance on prime-time television in the year 2006 for an Emmy-nominated turn as a corporate executive with lung cancer in 6 episodes of the ABC courtroom drama titled "Boston Legal."
Fox has achieved much fame and fortune during 1980s as the politically conservative teenager Alex Keaton on the popular TV sitcom "Family Ties" and also as the star of the time-travel movies "Back to the Future".
Michael J. Fox later starred as a deputy mayor on the ABC comedy’s "Spin City." But he opted out of the series in May 2000, by saying that he wanted to dedicate his time to find a cure for Parkinson's disease and to leave the show on his own terms, before the illness caused harm to his body.
