Five-time Emmy and two-time Golden Globe winning American actor Kelsey Grammer has been hospitalized on Monday morning in New York after suffering from a recent heart attack.
Kelsey Grammer's spokesman Stan Rosenfield said that the 53 year old actor was taken to the hospital by his wife Camille and he was undergoing tests to determine the cause.
Rosenfield also said that possibly Kelsey Grammer's medication led to his symptoms. At the time, the actor was in town to promote his new film, "Swing Vote".
Grammer can't appear in The "Live with Regis and Kelly" show of Tuesday.
Nearly two months ago, Kelsey Grammer, who is best known for his two-decade portrayal of psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Crane in the NBC sitcoms "Cheers" and "Frasier", suffered a mild heart attack in Hawaii while paddle-boating with wife Camilla.
