For being 39-years old with three children, Cate Blanchett is still blessed with breathtaking beauty. And the actress looked stunning at the 2008 Helpmann Awards at Star City Casino on Monday night (July 28)Blanchett looked slim in a tight fitting, v-necked black dress accessorized with a pair of diamond encrusted Rodger Vivier shoes. All of the attention however was not focused on Cate’s outfit, but more on her cleavage.
The award winning actress arrived with her playwright husband Andrew Upton, but he was left in the shade by his glamorous wife of ten years.
The couple welcomed their third child into the world in Australia on April 13, with the happy mother describing having children as “addictive”.
She says: “Having kids is very addictive, if you can, if you’re able to and it’s your choice and you’ve got a supportive relationship. You realize how much love you’re actually capable of. It’s like more doors open in your personality that you didn’t even realize were there” She added “It’s a trip, being a parent, a privilege - even though it means you get a lot less sleep.”
