Gathering up her closest celebrity pals, Kate Beckinsale celebrated her 35th birthday (which happens to be today, July 26th) with a fancy shindig at the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills on Friday night (July 25).Among those joining in on the fun were Kate’s hubby Len Wiseman, along with David and Victoria Beckham, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker, and Dustin Hoffman, who brought his wife Lisa Gottsegen.
The whole group was shuttled in and out by a heavy duty security team, with Dustin Hoffman’s driver reportedly nearly hitting a pedestrian as their car made a quick getaway.
Meanwhile, in related news, it was just announced that the Kate Beckinsale-starring thriller “Whiteout” is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 24, 2009 by Dark Castle/Warner Bros.
The movie, which is based on a novel by Greg Rucka, tells the story of “Carrie Stetko (Kate Beckinsale), who is a lone U.S. Marshal assigned to Antarctica whose investigation of the continent’s first murder draws her into a shocking mystery.”
