Earlier this week he was involved in a serious car accident that landed him in the hospital. And earlier today, Morgan Freeman was finally released to go home.The “Million Dollar Baby” actor was driving in Mississippi’s Tallahatchie county late Sunday afternoon when he flipped his car over, landing in a ditch.
When emergency crews arrived on the scene, rescue workers were forced to bring out the jaws of life to extract Mr. Freeman from the wreckage, airlifting him to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
According to attorney Bill Luckett, Morgan will have to wear a neck brace for six to eight months. He added, “The doctors have said it will be six months to a year before he plays golf again. He hates that.”
The 71-year-old Oscar-winner has also been confirmed to be in divorce proceedings with his wife Myrna, to whom he’s been married since 1984.
