Dirty Dancing star Patrick Swayze appears to be bouncing back after months of treatment for pancreatic cancer.
The 55-year-old actor looked as strong as ever as he arrived at LA airport yesterday, flashing a smile - and even a thumbs up - as he made his way through the terminal.
When asked about his health, the high-spirited star told photographers: 'I'm a miracle dude, I don't know why.'
He revealed last month that he was keeping up his fight, saying: 'My treatments are working and I am winning the battle.
'I am juicing every day along with other treatments and all I can say is that it's working fine and really well."
The 55-year-old actor was jetting out to begin filming the television FBI show The Beast in Chicago.
Swayze, 55, announced earlier this year he had been diagnosed with the disease, one of the most serious of the cancers.
He has been undergoing chemotherapy but not radiation treatment, according to his representative.
He has also been having pioneering Cyberknife radiotherapy in California, according to reports.
In March, it was reported that Swayze had been 'close to death'.
The actor was said to have as little as five weeks to live.
The disease, which was diagnosed in January, had already spread to his other vital organs, it was reported.
Pancreatic cancer sufferers typically have a survival rate of 5 per cent.
But because the cancer has spread around Swayze's body, he had an even lower chance of beating the disease, the National Enquirer initially reported.
