Feeling strong and confident, Britney Spears does not see the need in extending her restraining order against one time manager/pal Sam Lutfi, saying that they will never be friends again.
According to reports, the one-time inseparable pair have had no contact since February - when Britney’s mom Lynn Spears accused Lutfi of drugging her daughter. At that time Jamie (Britney’s father) was granted legal control of her affairs as temporary conservator.
The pop princess’s court appointed attorney, Samuel D. Ingham III, says: “Britney has made clear to everyone, that she does not want to be further harassed or contacted in any way by Osama ‘Sam’ Lutfi, now or at any time in the future.”
According to Ingham, Jamie can legally control who his daughter sees, stating: “During the temporary conservatorship, the conservators have the power to insure that Lutfi will not harm Britney anymore.”
He adds that once the restraining order is over, Spears will continue to have zero contact with Lutfi. “If Mr. Lutfi makes any future attempt to contact Britney after the temporary conservatorship has concluded,” he said, “Britney has made clear she will take all appropriate legal action.”
It seems as if Lutfi is not going to fight Britney and her family’s wishes, as he said in his own statement: “Mr. Lutfi and Mr. Spears have mutually agreed in private that no hearing or order is necessary at this time.”
